Planning a wedding with bagpipes is easy when you find the right inspiration.
From my experience, this is usually how it goes.
Normally, with Weddings, I will play as guests arrive until just before the ceremony begins. Depending on the request of the bride and groom, I usually play for one or the other. I remain in the same place as the soon-to-be newly wed walks down the aisle, or for a more majestic entrance, I can march down the aisle playing the wedding tune of your choice. The ceremony is then conducted, and after the bride and groom are pronounced husband and wife, I usually play a faster, happy tune in celebration. From my experience, this is usually what happens, but I am always ready to work with you to plan your special day the way you see fit. Sometimes, I play during cocktail hour while pictures are being taken, and often, I pipe in the newly weds at the reception for a grand entrance. With a day as special as your wedding day, it is important to ensure quality of sound. Please have a listen to my sound files to know what a professional bagpiper sounds like. On that page, you can also get a feel for what kind of tunes you would like me to play on your special day.
